Formula one is ring-fenced with a tough outer shell of technical jargon, it’s hard to label them superfluous as the sport won’t function without diffusers, blistering and telemetry. Although I’m sure the teams would love to get rid of blistering…and marbles. Mostly serious, for sure, but this doesn’t mean we can’t include a few off-track things as well.
